In order to better serve the retail floral industry, it became important to rebrand our company to be true to our goals of not only helping our clients attract new customers, but to also retain existing customers and keep them coming back.
Our renewed focus on customer retention, along with relationship building and development, inspired this bold new identity that will showcase our dedication to our clients and their businesses, while also reinforcing the importance of maintaining those relationships.
Helping your business bloom
Through the evolution of floral retailing and the noticeable challenges facing retail florists today reflected in the diminishing shop count, it is evident that consumer loyalty and confidence are becoming lost at the local level.
Although national retail floral companies maintain a “cookie cutter” approach with perceived value and heavy discounting, their customer service seems to be top-notch and the ability to forward market to consumers that shop with them once is exceptional.
This is why we created the Bloomerang approach.
A good friend, Tracy Callahan of Bethesda Florist in Bethesda, Maryland once said to me, “Everything begins with sales.”
He was so right.
However, I would like to add that sales are measured by surveys. After all, wouldn’t you want to know how your customer truly feels about your shop?
Unfortunately, in the retail floral industry, most of the focus is on securing an order – sometimes at any cost. Some pay too much to acquire a customer and others to secure a transaction.
Without repeat business, overpaying for the initial order is a formula for failure. With a secondary plan to secure future orders, you can get ahead with volume from profitable orders you will achieve when the customer calls back the second time and beyond. That is the secret of the Bloomerang approach – a focus on retention as the key to all successful efforts.

Coming together as one
Beneva Solutions laid the groundwork for Bloomerang by being innovative and proactive in our approach to floral marketing. Over the years we have continued to grow and offer new services to our diverse group of clients, reinforcing the need to streamline and integrate all of our brands (with the exception of floralapp, which will remain the same) into one complete identity.
