As we work with clients, we always encourage them to show local designs on social channels.
In doing so, I often come across small details that could make a big difference to your customers and help you sell more arrangements!
Angle: It's most important to figure out what angle you would like to shoot your designs. Once decided, be consistent unless you shoot a container with flowers.
Container with flowers: These should be shot more towards the base with flowers that complement the container. You can see below a sleigh shot from the top and one straight on. Not only is angle important, the greens and flowers should not overpower the design. The sleigh with the greens over the edge looks great in person but not the same to the camera.
The basket below is an apple basket. Having the handle up would indicate the type of basket used. The whole carnation is also overexposed. Needs to be cleaned up so the edges can be seen, or lighting should be adjusted.
These are just a few tips. Remember, AMS members have full access to Flickr images to use as active AMS members.
