There are a lot of florists out there who don’t even think supermarkets are competitors because they consider themselves to be on a different level. The way I see it, everyone who sells flowers in our area is a competitor, and ignoring them can be a costly mistake.
Obviously, we still want to keep our bread and butter – the customers trusting us to create a beautiful gift for a loved one. We keep those customers by offering them service that supermarkets just can’t touch. They know our flowers will be high quality, hand-designed and delivered by professionals, and most importantly, they’ll have the finishing touches – the little things you do that nobody else does – that’s what makes your finished product look better than supermarket flowers wrapped in cellophane.
